Treyarnon Bay’s reputation as one of the area’s best beaches is easily justified. With its expanse of fine, golden sand and craggy cliffs, this glorious part of the coast has something to keep every member of the family happy. With lifeguards on patrol from May until September, many happy hours can be spent surfing its fun waves or exploring its critter filled rockpools. If calmer waters are more your thing why not try the tidal pool nestled into the rocks, topped up daily by the ocean and a perfect spot for snorkelling. Pick up the coast path north and wander over to Constantine, a huge arc of golden sand with world class waves, or keep on strolling round Trevose Head, home to the lighthouse and Lifeboat station. Walking South from Treyarnon takes you past Fox Cove and Pepper Cove, both famed smuggling spots from the days when goods were brought ashore away from the watchful eye of the local marshals!
St Merryn village is a short drive away, with plenty of shops and bars including Rick Steins pub, The Cornish Arms. The village is also home to a well-stocked shop, bakery, and surf shop, so all bases are covered! Another five minutes in the car will take you to Padstow, a vibrant harbour town packed full of renowned restaurants, galleries, and a whole host of outdoor activities, perfect for a day out.
Layout
The feeling throughout The Trevose is of space and light, and this begins as soon as you step inside. The spacious hallway leads into a large open plan living and dining area, with huge French doors that fill the whole space with light. The jewel tones of the soft furnishings echo the colours of the sea and sky, so visible through the large expanse of glass, and the stylish furnishings are both comfortable and elegant and create a relaxed, coastal vibe. A modern black gloss kitchen sits to the rear of the apartment and a large window above the sink area overlooks the courtyard and brings even more light into the space. Back into the central hallway, and you find a single bedroom with bunk beds, perfect for the smaller ones in the party! A handy WC is also located on this level. Follow the staircase to the upper floor, where the two further bedrooms are found. No fighting over the sea view here, both bedrooms are to the front of the house and have spectacular vistas over the bay. The master has a spacious ensuite with shower over bath and a large window to the rear, filling the space with natural light. The stylish décor continues throughout these rooms, with the second ensuite bedroom being set as a twin.
Enjoying a panoramic view across Treyarnon Bay, the generous terrace has ample room for dining and lounging, as well as plenty of room to dry those salty and sandy wetsuits. A perfect spot to watch the evening sun dip below the horizon and plan the next day’s adventures.
Access
Access to the property is at the rear of the building and over one step into a communal hallway. A flight of stairs leads to the front door, and once inside there is a further flight of stairs to the upper floor where the bedrooms are located. Both flights of stairs are switchback in design and have handrails.

The apartment was as described and the location is perfect. Heading out for coast walks or playing on the beach was ideal with children. The local shop sells essentials and Padstow is a short drive away. We’d certainly stay again!

Gorgeous apartment, finished to a high standard. Sea views from both upstairs bedrooms, and from the open plan living kitchen diner. Only a minute’s walk to Treyarnon Bay and the coast path. We had a wet and grey week in February but could still appreciate the vista.

We both enjoyed the week at this spacious, modern well-furnished 3-bedroom beachside apartment with views of the picturesque Treyarnan Bay. It was great to watch the tidal changes and sunsets from indoors or out. We enjoyed walks along the coastal paths and on sandy beaches with stops for great coffee and hot or cold snacks from nearby beachside stops and the YHA bar. Would recommend staying.

We had a wonderful stay. The view over the beach and sea was spectacular. The flat was well furnished, super clean, comfortable bed and sofas. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could think of. We would love to come back again, the location next to the beach made our holiday perfect, everything was so easy. The communication was great with the company, and I know they would have sorted anything out should we have needed them.
