Popa sits nestled within the central courtyard, yet has the benefit of a wonderful south facing, decked garden and parking for two cars. This lovely dog-friendly cottage has a real home-from-home feel and is a superb base from which to explore the beautiful surrounding areas, or to just stroll on down to the beach and make the most of the seashore on your doorstep.

Harlyn is a stunning Bay on the North Cornish coastline. The waves rolling into the bay offer the perfect opportunity of learning to surf, as well as providing ever changing scenery as you soak up the sun on the beach. Harlyn Surf School offers an action packed experience with not just surf lessons but kayaking, paddle boarding and coasteering. Harlyn Bay also permits dogs on the beach all year round, so your furry friend can join you on your travels and not have to miss out!
Surrounded by other spots of beauty, Harlyn serves as an amazing base for exploring the North Cornish coastline and all its hidden gems along the South West Coast Path, with stunning walks via Trevone Bay to Padstow, or around the headland at Trevose.
Also on your doorstep, within a 5 minute walk you will find The Pig Hotel & Restaurant which offers a superb dining experience. And St Merryn just a mile away includes Rick Stein’s pub The Cornish Arms, amongst other lovely spots to eat and drink.
The picturesque harbour town of Padstow is just two miles away. This bustling town offers a vast variety of food from Rick Stein’s fine dining restaurants to fresh homemade pasties. If you’re feeling adventurous you could catch a sea life safari from the harbour or enjoy scenic views of the estuary cycling to Wadebridge for lunch along the flat Camel Trail.
Layout
Stroll through the sheltered courtyard to find Popa’s front door and enter into your holiday home! The cottage has a welcoming entrance, with plenty of space to dump the flip flops (or wellies!) and a convenient W.C. The ground floor opens up to your left, leading into a bright lounge with a real coastal feel. Sofas with the right amount of squash sit around a large flat-screened T.V, perfect for those family evenings where everyone can flop down together after a hard day at the beach. A large archway leads through to the kitchen diner, which is flooded with light from the large French doors that lead out onto the decking. Decorated in vibrant seaside tones, this modern kitchen features marble countertops and a gorgeous splashback tiled in deep ocean hues. Grab a mug from the selection of Cornishware crockery and take your coffee out to the decked rear garden, the perfect spot to enjoy the morning sun.
Stairs lead from the lounge area to the upper floor, with a bunk room, perfect for the kids, and a twin room both looking over the internal courtyard. A stylish tiled bathroom sits conveniently next door, and the sunny master bedroom benefits from its own ensuite.
As well as its own south facing decked garden which leads directly from the kitchen diner, Popa has use of Polmark Beach Cottages communal areas. These include the sheltered internal courtyard and the larger garden and BBQ area at the rear of the property, a great spot to spend those warm Cornish evenings.
Access
Parking spaces on gravel, level but uneven access across the paved courtyard area and one steps up to the main entrance of the house. Ground floor accommodation is level. One full flight of stairs up to the first floor where accommodation is then level. There is an entrance at the rear of the cottage also, next to the parking area.
Parking
There is allocated parking for two vehicles directly at the rear of the property.
EV charging
It is not permitted to charge electric vehicles at this property.
Pets
Dogs are permitted with a small charge of £30 per pet.
Refundable Security Deposit
A refundable security deposit of £250 will be taken prior to your stay.

Check in is from 16:00. On departure, please vacate by 10:00.
