Bro-Tref Cottage is set in the heart of the village of St Mawgan, a charming and sought village offering a post office, amenity store, public house (two minutes walk!) and church dating back to the 13th century. The River Menallhyl runs through St Mawgan Village and the valley is known as The Vale of Lanherne. You can walk through the vale to the sandy beach at Mawgan Porth, just over a mile distant. For more extensive amenities, the vibrant town of Newquay is just five miles away with its famous surfing beaches and wide selection of shops and restaurants/bars.
The cottage sleeps eight/nine people in four bedrooms. There is a comfy sitting room with character features and separate kitchen diner with access to the rear courtyard garden. On the first floor is a double room, twin room and bunk bedroom (suitable for children) and family bathroom. To the second floor the bedroom offers a double and single bed, and en-suite shower room. There is a small patio garden and parking for one car. PLEASE NOTE that this property is not ideally suited to young children. The stairways are open and a young child could fall.

A pleasant woodland walk for approximately one mile leads to Mawgan Porth where there is a stunning sandy beach and further shops plus places to eat and drink.
Also within a couple of miles is Watergate Bay, a simply beautiful stretch of coastline, offering a huge expanse of sand and perfect conditions for surfing and watersports. With the Extreme Academy located on the beach side, there is plenty of activities to get involved in.
